How it fits together

01
From a school project to a remaster
The first version shipped when my profile still said "Java programmer from Russia". The remaster keeps the idea and rewrites everything else in modern C++.
02
The simulation
- 16 block types on an infinite 2D grid.
- Event-driven: only what changed is recomputed, from 2 up to 65,536 ticks a second.
03
What people build in it
The examples go from an RS latch and adders to an 8-bit adder with seven-segment displays, and finally an autonomous 16-bit SUBLEQ computer running inside the sandbox.
04
Under the hood
- Instanced rendering and HDR bloom, so thousands of glowing wires stay smooth.
- Undo and redo, and an autosave that survives a crash.
05
Stack
C++20, OpenGL, ImGui and CMake.
